Who We Are

Tres Hermanas: The Company

Tres Hermanas is just that, Three Sisters.

Three Sisters - Heather, Katy and Anna LuxionTres Hermanas that have worked, served, and evolved together. A company of minds with different skills and talents all set to the same goal: helping to reshape the world through art, design, and music. It's been our life's driving force, and the framework for the company we've created.

How do you reshape the world through art, design, and music? By focusing on evolution instead of stagnation, pushing the boundaries of web and print based design instead of the same ol' "copy a design and paste it" mentality, and by looking at our clients as equals instead of dollar signs.

Since this company's inception we've served and worked with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals to affect a positive change. Our ideal clients are the kind of people that share our enthusiasm and desire to transform the world for the better. And the more diverse the group, the better.

We pride ourselves on our clients. And hope we can work with you to create an image to match your passion and direction.

With us you'll find everything you could ever want in a design business and more. InspirationThis includes experience with print design, web design, Flash, Drupal, Wordpress, illustration, logo and brand creation, music composition & performance, coding, writing, search engine optimization, integration of all the web's facets, and more; but always the drive to serve humanity and push the margins, ledgers, and white space.

After all, we come from the mentality that a company should serve not only their clients but through them, the public. This is the world we envision, and one we hope you'd like to build with us.

Tres Hermanas: The Sisters

Heather Luxion, Self-PortraitHeather Luxion, the oldest sister, found her calling in design at the ripe old age of 12. Thanks to homeschooling, she was able to devote herself early to the learning of her craft. Becoming a sponge of information, she tore through books and online tutorials, practicing on her own sites and creations, and was rewarded by being hired for her first design project just four years later.

That, however, was 12 years ago. Since then, she’s turned design into a self-driven, self-taught career, becoming enamored with the mysteries of web coding and print design. Always pushing herself to learn new computing languages and scouring the net for innovative designs, she thrives on a good design challenge.

Avoiding the traditional path to carve out an approach all her own has given Heather a unique perspective on design, running a business, and life in general.

Katy Luxion, Self-PortraitKaty Luxion – "middle sister" doesn’t do her justice - has artistic skills as broad and as deep as they come. Starting college at just 16, she received an Associates degree in Fashion Design in 2005, a Bachelors in Graphic and Multimedia Design in 2008, and is currently enrolled as a Post Baccalaureate (soon to be Graduate) student at Memphis College of Art. She not only wants to learn multiple forms of art and design, she also plans to master each along the way. (She's doin' it.)

Her love for art in all its forms is obvious, and her skills and abilities put most to shame, but her ability to earnestly explain her work and how it’s created puts her in a strata all her own. Ask Katy a question about any piece and she's happy to delve into its meaning, creation and inspiration -- in artistic OR layman's terms.

With Tres Hermanas, Katy not only brings all her skills in design and fine arts to the table, she also brings a love for art in all its forms.

Anna Luxion, Self-PortraitAnna Luxion, the youngest of the three, is an artist and creator in her own right. An award-winning songwriter, she's been singing her entire life, playing guitar and writing music since 2004, and she released her first CD at just 18 years of age.

Originally playing solely by ear (piano, guitar, recorder, and just about any other instrument she could get her hands on), she eventually began taking college courses in guitar, as well as recording and sound engineering. This led her to being accepted into McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she plans to earn a Bachelors in Music in Composition & Songwriting, with a Minor in Vocal Performance. Not one to sit idly by, she's in the process of creating two new albums, as well as planning a U.S.-wide tour to take place by 2012.

In addition to writing, composing, recording & just plain loving music, Anna also enjoys knitting, writing (poetry, novels) and spending time with her fiancé.
